These ideas are about how the design and its exterior can interact with public users. As much as the design is about the internal environment it equally needs to respect the external relation and spaces it creates amongst its immediate environment and context at large. These images shows - spaces for viewers passing by and been able to visually connect with the spaces inside to draw and create curiosity for a user to enter.

This insertion of a supper club is in an urban context and needs to produce a meshed urban environment for its user's and passers. Create public spaces and an environment for the public as well as the intended users. Create a varse range of experiences and spaces to allow interaction which is the crux of urban design.

After researching and discussing our research within the tutorial. The supper club needs to be a place that has a multi-functional space. A place where user can spend an entire evening in a relaxed and unique environment which has an overall theme. Been able to link this space and creating individual spaces in the design is crucial for the program and experiences to work efficiently.

This photo and form expresses for me and inter-connective source which links together. A light source linking with one another and meshing together to create an overall form. I want my design to be a linking place, which has the potential to be local, national and global. A design which can be linked throughout the world.

This technology represents a new wat to create and perform electronic music. The markers on top of the screen can be moved and rearranged to produce different types of music tempos, styles and combinations. An interactive technology tool that allows multiply user to create in collaboration new music outputs. This tool could be incorporated to produce and create new images to be projected onto the club's walls/floors/ceiling surface or furniture systems.

Interactive Floor Pads that react to user interaction. The floor pads could be integrated into the Supper Club for use in the dance floor. Or the floor plates could be used to guide user from space to another where people active the lights to invite people to where they are lounging.

BMW KINETIC SCULTURE

The technology presented here is from an installation at BMW show room. Numerous balls drop from string connected into the roof. The balls can move in sequences and rhythm with one another. They can create patterns suspended in mid air and dance to the rhythm of music. The final arrangement in the video are the balls aligned to model the body of the new BMW car.

This type of technology could be used to represent the mood of the user within the club or used as a central sculpture piece. It could move in time with how many user are expressing their ideas or how much interaction is being created by design collaboration with the club. Therefore, it would be directly influenced by the users withint he club.

After searching the web for forms, technology realting to my theme of connectivity, i found this picture which inspired me on a form my design could take to represent a connective tissue. The use of light within this sculture makes it more lurring as it woud suite a night club environment. The form seems to fold in and draw the shape into one another to create a continuous flow within the structure. My design as well as harbouring ideas, needs to express that the ideas flow from one another in a connective expression.

These findings were from our initial groups investigations to digital media affecting the experience of spaces which needs to be present in our final design concept. A digital Supper Club and the technologies to incorporate into the design easily coincides with my initial design proposal as i used projection technology in my initial design folie.

Above is the use of light projections used to alter a angular form. Different light spectacles are projected onto the form to create different experiences and use of the creation. Light can alter your mood and experience. If the light is flickering or moving rapidly it can cause you to feel electrified or nauseous, depending on the state you are in. Light can easily affect your sense in this way - more subtle and flowing pictures projected on the form can relax or bore you in an environment. I might use this type of technology to heighten the user experience within the club from one space to the other. Providing the user with two different contrasting spaces, affect mainly by light effects.

This idea is with relations to the furniture or seating options available in the Club. If one person ideas can effect another person's ideas, this design reflects this in a physical manner. As one person site on a lounge/couch/seating area it is felt by the other person already sitting there or soem distance fromt he person. Immediately the initial person is informed that some else has the same intention as them. I was envisioning that the seating system would be on some kind of hydraulic system which would move sections of the seating if affected by another persons interaction.

This image was discovered while searching the topic "connecting ideas". I searched for themes relating to my specific topic to find images that would inspire or lead me to new ideas. This image i thought was a way in which my design could work on an international basis with Supper Clubs set up all over the world with the same idea and technology proposed for my design. A place where ideas from different backgrounds, languages, cultures, societies can reach out to one another. Images of similar topics or completely random topics can be exchanged with one another. A projector set up to stream images from different counties who also are able to view and interact with other images and ideas seen in other clubs. A network of Supper Clubs to serve the same purpose.

This is the main concept of the design which will enable the Supper Club to have a specific theme. A club where ideas (in a digital form) can be shared and easily exchanged with user in the club. As the Club is designed for techno savvy clientele stated in the brief. My design will take full advantage of the digital way to share and collaborate information. The folie intention was to provide a place where the free flow or ideas could be shared. This is the vision in which i will incorporate into my Supper Club. The image above is my representation of people sharing ideas in selective groups with segments of their ideas going to a central location, where these ideas become inter-twined and overlapped with other user's ideas to spontaneously create new ideas and image to provoke the unknown.

My initial idea and folie was inspired partially from the wiki leaks exposure. As we move into a digital age, information is shared freely and openly to enlighten people who wish to be informed. The truth or someones else's interpretation/version of an instance can radically change your current perception of an idea. What we are told from one person can be completely different from another - due to their intention and experiences they have encountered throughout their life. People see, hear and reproduce ideas due to their experiences and mouldings throughout their life. The world hasn't got a balanced equation, where everyone is equal, and this is why information is subjected by subjects. Knowledge leads to power and i believe knowledge should be entitled to be shared openly and freely - then again this is only my perception - and who is to say i'm right

These sketches represent how my form could start to develop. Here the connective tissue/structure will lift the form off the ground still enable the user that pass through the site as a passage way. The design will not impede their movement from one destination to another, but enhance their journey if they chose to interact with the incision of the new design. The idea to raise or partially raise the design from the ground also represents the way in which my design will create and lift peoples thoughts and ideas to a new level or realisation. The ideas have a foundation and origin, and my design allows the to take a new heightened journey to the unknown. the picture in the top right corner depicts my thoughts on how the forms can be used to exert light from within the building to become a beacon within its context like the folie provided.
